apple launches iphone xs together with fall detecting smartwatch

The U.S-based tech giant enters September with the launch of updated iPhone X handsets that are bigger & better models; namely iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR.

The iPhone XS Max consists of 6.5in (16.5cm) display, whereas the iPhone XS has the same 5.8in-sized component as the original. On the other hand, the iPhone XR's screen size is 6.1in but with a lower quality.

In addition, Apple has also launched its new smartwatch that includes an impressive fall-detection function.

There were concerns that the comparatively high entry price of £999 for iPhone X might limit the smartphones’ appeal. However, Apple stated it has consistently established the position of iPhone X as a popular option as compared to its lower-priced iPhone 8 handsets. Interestingly, market research companies submit that it has also outsold the flagship devices delivered by rival companies.

With all such projections & motivations across the market, last month Apple was able to touch an extraordinary milestone of crossing $1tn (£768bn) in market revenue.

The XS Max will turn out to be the most expensive mobile phone Apple has sold till date. It is stated that the price ranges from £1,099 to £1,449, based on the storage of the handset.

The iPhone XR does consist of a bigger screen but comprises of LCD (liquid crystal display) instead of the OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology that is available in the more expensive models. In simple terms, black appears less deep, whereas other colors will appear with less contrast.

Moreover, its chassis is formed using aluminum and not steel, pointing out the fact that it will be less damage-resistant. Nevertheless, unlike the expensive models, iPhone XR comes in six different color variants.

These latest Apple iPhone models consist of a fresh processor called the A12 Bionic. This is the company’s first to offer seven-nanometre transistor technology that is capable of aiding energy efficiency together with computation speeds.

Once these phones are launched globally, the demand scale will reveal how effectively Apple has delivered its new iPhone range.
