elon musk launches falcon heavy rocket carrying teslas sport car

On Wednesday, Elon Musk’s cherry red sports car manufactured by Tesla together with ‘Starman’ were launched over Falcon heavy rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Elon Musk, SpaceX CEO, has been a visionary who has acted upon most of his promises. On Wednesday, Musk’s cherry red Tesla sports car together with Starman (dummy pilot) were launched on a new course dashing towards the asteroid belt riding over Falcon heavy rocket.

The mammoth vehicle, Falcon, has been rated as the most powerful space shuttle in the present time. It raised clear of its pad at Kennedy Space Center in Florida without any soar moment to move smoothly over the Atlantic Ocean.

According to Musk, the challenges of developing this new rocket caused the chances for a successful outing hanging at 50-50. He stated at the press event after the launch, "I had this image of just a giant explosion on the pad, a wheel bouncing down the road. But fortunately that's not what happened".

Presently, after this debut, the Falcon Heavy has become the most talented launch vehicle which is available in today’s time. After the launch, Musk mentioned that Starman had been somewhat heavy on the gas, causing the spaceship to travel well beyond the intended target, that is, Mars.

Based on its new trajectory, the world’s first every car-turned-spacecraft would take a months-long stroll through deep space before entering the circumstellar asteroid belt present between Mars and Jupiter; here the risk of catastrophic collisions are quite high.

The motive of this spaceship by SpaceX is to deliver maximum cargo to low-Earth orbit of 64 tonnes. It is interesting to know that, Falcon Heavy is basically three of SpaceX's mainstay Falcon 9 vehicles joined together.
