boeing unveils the new model of 737 max family airliner

The newly unveiled Boeing 737 MAX 9 beats its older sibling of MAX family, the smaller MAX 8 which was launched by aerospace manufacturer giant in December 2015.

According to the Boeing Co., its newly designed MAX 9 version of aircraft will carry up to 220 passengers in a single cabin layout. This bigger version of MAX family aircraft is a major rival to the Airbus A321neo.

Boeing further added that the MAX 9 aircraft is capable of flying up to 3515 miles (6510 KM) non-stop, it means it can easily fly from New York to London. This new model is nearly 9 feet longer than the MAX 8 airliner which was 129 feet 8 inches long aircraft model of Boeing.

The company said that they will begin flight tests of MAX 9 in the month of April. After its first official flight, MAX 9 will be the largest version of 737 families of airliners, but on Tuesday, the company announced that it will launch a new larger version of MAX family airliner, the MAX 10, by the end of this year.

However, the company declined to share any details and answer any questions about the MAX 10 jet. Boeing also added that the MAX 10 will fit into a segment of the airliner market where the Airbus’s A321neo has been ruling in the trades against the MAX 9.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes Vice President, Mr. Randy Tinseth, said through the blog "I confirmed that Boeing is actively engaged in discussions with customers about the 737 MAX 10X."

During speaking at the annual Americas conference of ISTAT (International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading) in San Diego, California, Mr. Tinseth stated that the company wishes to have its first official order from airlines in this year and wants to be flying passengers by the year 2020.
