Google publically unlocked its gates for expanding its staff for its newest workplace in Pasir Panjang at Mapletree Business City II. The company wants to grow its new house in Singapore by attracting a fresh team of engineers who are employed in other foreign countries.
Google Singapore, the company’s newest hub has added two more office blocks. Now it has more than 1,000 workers that contains a significant share of anonymous engineers.
The Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Long and MTI minister S. Iswaran expressed that, their country and US Tech Giant Google can receive a lot of profit from each other, specifically in the era of a modern world where technology is quickly shifting the techniques of business.
According to the vice-president of Google’s Next Billion Users Team, Mr. Caesar Sengupta, the company wants to enhance the engineering team at Asia-Pacific headquarter to back the corporation’s idea of catching the next billion internet users. At the inauguration of its Singapore base at Mapletree Business City, Sengupta said, “I would like to say it’s significant to even though it’s small still, but we expect to grow it over the years.”
Google has dedicated on amenities for the business segment in Singapore, and is also aiming to acquire a higher community impression. In the next three years, Google will establish the huge coding programs for 3000 learners aged between 8 and 15 years; focusing to cover the ground income families. MTI Minister, Mr. S Iswaran offered a positive statement which highlighted that, digital economy is generating new chances for Singaporeans. This point is further backed up by an analysis conducted in June 2015 which tells that, the Info-Communications Media Development Authority is expected to offer 53,000 digital and related employments by the year 2018.
